[Fashion] I'm Like a Bird

Hello there friends!

I have been working really hard on trying to figure out how to get better outfit pics for ya'll. You'll see in this post I'm in two completely different spots, trying out different "scenery", if you will.

Top and Jeans - Gap (top 2011, jeans are old)
Sunnies - Target
Shoes - Burlington Coat Factory (old)
Earrings, Ring - Kohl's
Necklace - Payless
Bracelet - H&M
Watch - local boutique
Bag - Kohl's

You've seen this location before, with my beautiful backyard shed as a backdrop.

What is that bright thing in the sky?

I wore this outfit a weekish ago. The intent was to go to a friend's birthday party. That's why I wore those shoes. Cute, right? But I also wore them because I knew I wouldn't be walking. And they are not that comfortable. "But Jamie," you say, "they're wedges! Wedges are the most comfortable heels ever." And I would normally agree. But these. You can't see it, but they are held on by these super-cute-yet-horribly-non-functional ribbon ties.

Oh no! I've lost my head!

(How do we feel about this corner of the yard?) So, on this night, I figured a birthday party at a friend's house would mean a small amount of time moving about, and at worst a lot of standing. Well, I ended up meeting my hubby and his friend out at the bar afterwards. And it became a way later night than it was supposed to be, as I tromped around to bar after bar after bar, in these poorly held on shoes.

Sparse grass, eh?

Needless to say, my feet were sore by the end of the night. But will I get rid of these shoes? Absolutely not. Adorable > comfortable. Almost always.

I absolutely love hearing from readers! Thanks for stopping by!
And I make a point to visit the blogs of my commenters, so if you have one, please leave me a way of getting there along with your comment.

(Please don't leave a comment that's only asking me to go to your blog - you might have a great blog but this type of comment is just bad manners.)
